Welcome to the Counter Assault Training Center for Filipino Kali and Wing Chun Kung FuOver the years we have seen a number of different methodologies each with their own take on engaging in hostile confrontations. On the premise that not any one art form has all of the answers we have found that what drives us is the passion to be complete, versatile and ready to determine the outcome of each scenario. This training center is hinged on the theory of: “there is no such thing as self-defense, only offense and counter-offense.” What this means is that in a scenario where you must “defend” yourself, the very act of defense held at a constant will result in a “lose” situation. We define losing as: loss of life and loss of loved ones. Any other scenario leading up to this confrontation is a moot point. Amongst all of the reasons for engaging in a hostile scenario these are the only two that deem it right to engage. Because of the nature of the training center material, engagement is a “win/lose,” scenario also can be thought of as “we win and you lose” by any means necessary. At the Counter-Assault Training Center we will strive to make you better if you promise to do the same. Some of your goals should include readying yourself to protect against any scenario, applying this material as a reflexive verses thought base, and managing your emotion in training so that it will be reflected when engaged.
